Tablet PC Is Increasingly Favored By Women And The Elderly In China

According to the market research firm's latest survey, due to characteristics such as easy to use and light, tablet PCs and e-book readers are more and more favored by women and elders.
The survey results show that the users' composition of smart phones has not much change compared with the previous years. It is still most popular among young people in their twenties and early thirties. But the proportion of users of smart phones and e-book reader above the age of 55 years old increased from 10 percent in the last fall to the 19% in this summer. The number almost doubled. Meanwhile, the proportion of women who purchase e-book reader f jumped from 47% to 61% in the second quarter of this year.
The analyst said that early users are often the young and the male. With the growing popularity of consumer electronics products, more and more women and older people began to join them. E-book reader has been listed for years, while the Tablet PC is a relatively new phenomenon. The birth of Apple iPad in 2010 marks the advent of the Tablet PC era.
Tablet PCs have gone through the same development path with the microwave. Many studies indicate that tablet PCs and e-book readers are being welcomed by users of all ages.
